This is my neighbor, Kirk. I gave him a signed advance copy of my book a few days ago and he made a very kind LinkedIn post about it that I can see has already helped me sell some books. But this post isn’t to thank him for that (I’ll do that next time I see him). This post is to thank people like him for supporting people like me, and to encourage others to be like Kirk. Let me explain… 4 years ago, when I started the social media content blitz that grew into my current business he was one of the first people outside of my family to act like I hadn’t lost my mind. Every time I saw him he asked me how it was going and gave encouraging feedback about my videos. See when I started making content I had a lot of fears around “putting myself out there”. I acted tough, but I wasn’t. I knew I needed to keep going and I knew I wasn’t going to stop but kind words here and there from Kirk and others like him made it a lot easier to stay positive and keep going. I am blessed now to have lots of supporters but I will never forget what it was like when I could count them on my fingers. So… If you’re reading this I invite you to look at your own circle. Who do you know that is up to something wild and crazy? Who do you know that is walking out on a limb to do something they believe in? How have you responded to that person? I’m asking you to please encourage them. Set aside any skepticism (or jealousy?) and realize they represent what the world needs right now… even if you don’t think their big idea is gonna work. Honestly, we don’t need more conformists or people blending in… we need stand outs, rule breakers, free thinkers, and disruptors. But the world does not make it easy to be one of those people. Please realize that if someone around you is you is being bold and pursuing a big idea they are also having to work extra hard to keep up a tough front. We humans are pretty primitive in how we respond to new ideas and people that have them and take action on them get assaulted with doubt from both within and without. Let’s be better than that. Let’s support outside-the-box thinking. Let’s come from love, not fear. Let’s be like Kirk. #entrepreneurship ~~~ Your financial outlook is ready to improve!

Let me explain…

4 years ago, when I started the social media content blitz that grew into my current business he was one of the first people outside of my family to act like I hadn’t lost my mind.

So…

If you’re reading this I invite you to look at your own circle.
